Nestled in the woods adjacent to Worden's Pond, the village is celebrating it's 22nd year as an adult community, and is pleased to now be in the process of concluding the development of this quiet and comfortable lifestyle. Residents of The Village at Worden's Pond purchase their home and lease the home site from us. Current lease fees are shown under the "Resales"/ "Land Lease" tabs.
The monthly lease fee covers property tax and insurance on all the land in The Village at Worden's Pond. The lease fee also includes maintenance of our private roads (repaving, plowing and street sweeping); Spring and Fall fertilization of all the lawns in the community; landscaping the entrance, the clubhouse and open space areas throughout the community; and curbside pickup and recycling every Friday morning. Each home has its own septic system, which we maintain by site inspections and a pumping schedule. Electricity for the entrance, community center, and mail areas is also included in the lease fee. Your responsibility as a homeowner would be to pay town taxes and insurance on your individual home.
We have a storage area for boats and RV's, which can be rented for between $15.00 and $35.00/ per month depending on the size.
